Perancangan Motion Graphic Mengenai Pubertas Bagi Remaja di Kampung KB Gugunungan Kabupaten Bandung

Abstract

Teenagers are a transitional period of change from childhood to adulthood. During this process, various changes occur in their bodies, both physically, psychologically, and sexually. Throughout this phase, teenagers have a strong sense of curiosity, enjoy adventure and challenges, and are willing to take risks without mature consideration. This makes sex education important to be provided to teenagers. However, the notion that sex education is still taboo and awkward to discuss often makes it difficult for teenagers to ask questions, and their parents also struggle to provide information about these topics, including teenagers and parents in Kampung KB Gugunungan, Jelekong Village, Bandung Regency. Kampung KB Gugunungan has a program that supports activities in providing sex education to teenagers there. However, the delivery of the education still uses simple or conventional presentation techniques without representative material aids. The purpose of this design is to provide sex education to teenagers in Kampung KB Gugunungan about puberty and how to maintain hygiene. Additionally, it aims to provide Kampung KB Gugunungan with media that accommodates the BKR program's counseling activities by using motion graphics as one of the media. The research method used in this design is descriptive-qualitative, focused on analyzing puberty, teenagers, KP KB, and motion graphics design. With the presence of motion graphic educational media for counseling activities aimed at teenagers in Kampung KB Gugunungan regarding puberty, it is hoped that teenagers can understand the changes happening to their bodies and start maintaining personal hygiene.
