Abstract

Export and import activities play a crucial role in the international trade system. The logistics industry is a crucial sector in supporting export and import activities. Logistics encompasses the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. The logistics industry is crucial for the smooth flow of international trade, where a country with a strong logistics system can increase its competitiveness in the global market. The development of an efficient logistics industry is closely linked to the role of logistics companies, including freight forwarders. Freight forwarders help companies organize the efficient delivery of goods. They handle document management, select transportation routes, and ensure goods arrive on time. As export-import activities worldwide become increasingly complex, freight forwarding companies face the challenge of determining competitive rates while maintaining business sustainability. Determining the right rates is crucial, as it not only impacts company costs but also profits and client satisfaction. This Community Service (PKM) activity utilizes socialization and information sharing methods regarding pricing, both from a scientific/academic perspective and from industry practice, specifically PT. Sunggong Logistics, a freight forwarding company. Data collection was conducted primarily through direct interviews and secondary data collected through media and digital platforms discussing freight forwarding activities. PT. Sunggong Logistics, as a freight forwarding company, determines its service rates using cost-based pricing and full costing methods.
