Abstract

This study aims to determine the relevance between procrastination and happiness among lecturers at Malikussaleh University. The research used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The participants were 260 lecturers selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a procrastination scale based on Ferrari's theory and a happiness scale developed from Seligman's concept. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test assisted by SPSS version 25. The results indicated no significant relevance between work procrastination and happiness among lecturers. This finding suggests that the level of task delay does not directly affect lecturers' happiness. Although some lecturers tend to be procrastinate in certain aspects, they are still able to maintain happiness through full engagement, positive relationships, and finding meaning in their work.
