Writing skills are not acquired instantly, but through practice and practice. In fact, many students still experience difficulties in learning language structures such as letters, syllables, words and sentences. In elementary school students at the initial level, the main requirement in learning is that students must have beginning writing skills, namely students can write vowels and consonants correctly. So that since they were still at the kindergarten level, students have begun to be trained to have beginning writing skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the structural analytica synthetic l method (SAS) to improve the beginning writing skills of class B students who will enter the elementary school level. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population and sample were 60 people, namely 30 students in the experimental group, and 30 students in the control group. The results of this study indicate that H0 is rejected because Thit < Ttab or 0.00002 < 0.05, thus H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the structural analytical synthetic method (SAS) to improve the beginning writing skills of TK X students.
