Having citizens with various cultural and religious backgrounds, Indonesia is a country that has plural characteristics that can be varied from one to another. This creates an environment that allows marriage between individuals from different cultures and religions. However, if the parent had a different religion with their children, their relationship quality is at risk to be low. This research used the narrative study method that involved one subject. Researcher found that there was a change in relationship quality between subjects with his parents that had different religions. Subject had a positive relationship with his father. However, their relationship is now deteriorating as both the subject and the father perceived their religion as an important matter.
