Abstract

Self efficacy is one of the factors that influence learning and a person's belief to handle situations in a way that produces satisfactory results, therefore, researchers want to know more deeply related to the effect of Self efficacy can affect mathematics learning achievement in students, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Self efficacy on student learning achievement in mathematics subjects for class XI students of SMK Semen Gresik.Quantitative is a research method based on the philosophy of positivism in addition to research that has a naturalistic (phenomenological) understanding of this type of research based on consideration of numbers or statistics used as researching certain populations or samples The use of quantitative types cannot be separated from positivism thinking. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test analysis, the sig value is 0.000. This means that the significant value is 0.05, so it can be seen that Self efficacy (x) affects Mathematics Learning Achievement in Semen Gresik Vocational School students. From the discussion above, it can be seen that "There is a Significant Effect Between Self efficacy and Learning Achievement". In addition, there are still many other factors that can influence between these variables. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, a simple linear regression value is obtained on the Self efficacy variable on learning achievement with a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000. Compared to the significance level of 0.05, this sig (2-tailed) value is smaller, which means that there is an influence of the Self efficacy variable (X) on Learning Achievement (Y). The result of R Square (R^2) shows a number of 0.343 which means that Self efficacy is partly (0.343%) on the learning achievement variable while the remaining (99.657%) is influenced by other variables not examined.
