Perbaikan Sistem Manajemen Mutu pada PT Propan Raya Cabang Bandung Berdasarkan Standar ISO 9001:2015

Abstract

Quality management is one of the management approaches that is important for organizations to be able to achieve their goals better, because quality management is not only focused on the quality of products and services, but also methods for achieving it that implement continuous improvement. PT Propan Raya is a company that has been operating in the paint industry since 1978, with high market potential, the company now has 48 branches in Indonesia and has an ISO 9001:2015 certificate. To support the quality management of its branches, in 2021 strategic steps were taken to implement a quality management system and an annual quality audit. Research was conducted to describe the implementation of the quality management system in one branch section and provide suggestions for improving the system based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The type of research is qualitative with descriptive and evaluative objectives. The research strategy is triangulation with interview techniques and document study. The data obtained was analyzed using the PDCA approach and root cause analysis. The results of research one show that clause four (organizational context) and clause five (leadership) are the clauses with the highest value with a value of 92%, while the lowest percentage is in clause ten (improvement) with a value of 70%. The second result of this root cause analysis was the main factors causing five quality audit findings in the inappropriate category and solutions for improving the quality management system so that there are no repeat audit findings.
