Pelatihan Pembentukan Mental Calon Akuntan Muda yang Kompetitif di Era Digitalisasi

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to encourage accelerated efforts to develop the mental quality of young accountant candidates amidst the onslaught of information technology, the use of which requires mental resilience and a competitive spirit to fulfill every goal. Some prospective young accountants in the city of Bandung have applied digital concepts in accounting lessons at their respective schools but have forgotten one important aspect related to the quality of those who manage their finances. This is possible due to the local community's lack of understanding regarding accounting as a whole, especially the more complex understanding of accounting regarding the use of digital technology, which makes creative accounting a new concept that needs to be understood thoroughly. It is hoped that understanding related to the concept of competitive mentality in the application of digital accounting can be sharpened more deeply by encouraging students to take part in digital accounting competitions organized by universities under the auspices of IAI. This PKM activity was held from 22 – 30 April 2024 at SMAK Kalam Kudus, Bandung. The output of this activity is a module distributed to students which contains questions about accounting competition cases in the era of digitalization. This assistance is provided to SMAK Kalam Kudus students who are actively involved in a series of accounting competitions at college level.
