Cases of violence against women in Indonesia, particularly in West Java and the city of Bandung, continue to increase each year, highlighting the need for more effective educational media to improve the understanding of young women, especially university students aged 18–23. The Samahita Foundation, through its Gender-Friendly Space Program, has conducted educational initiatives on gender issues and the prevention of sexual violence; however, the media used, such as presentation slides and e-books, are considered less engaging and less communicative for the target audience. This study aims to design an educational motion graphic that is more communicative, engaging, and easy to understand by applying a qualitative method through observation, interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires to identify audience needs. The design process includes pre-production, production, and post-production stages by adapting materials from the Samahita Foundation’s e-book and implementing a flat design visual style, simple icons, and female voice-over narration. The result is a motion graphic video as the main medium, supported by e-flyers, X-banners, merchandise, and thumbnails, which is expected to enhance awareness and understanding among female university students regarding basic assistance for cases of violence against women, as well as support the Samahita Foundation’s ongoing educational efforts.
