ANALISIS SURVIVAL CHART MUSIC RADIO MENGGUNAKAN METODE KAPLANMEIER DENGAN MODEL COX PROPORTIONAL HAZARD (Studi Kasus 103,1 FM OZ Radio Bandung)

Abstract

Music is one of the entertainment that enjoyed by people. Many media can be used to listen to the
music, one of them is radio. Survival analysis can be used to analyze the length of a song/music
survive on the music radio.This study explores what factors are critical for music to succeed on
chart music radio. The weekly top 21 songs listed on OZ Radio Bandung for 18 month were used as
the sample, both the Biggest Hits and Top Request. The method used in this study is the KaplanMeier

Method and Cox Proportional Hazard Model. The results indicated that songs realease by
major label survived longer on chart music Top Request, but on chart music Biggest Hits, none.
