Abstract

Adolescents are more prone to have negative stigma against people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) compared to adults. This is due to the lack of information and education for youth. One of the reasons is that conventional media are less attractive to teenagers because they are less attractive. If left unchecked, teenagers will have a bad view of PLWHA. One of the most popular media for teenagers is motion graphic animation videos. This design was carried out using qualitative methods supported by Soekarno's theory (2008:2) by combining various elements such as 2D and 3D animation, video, film, typography, illustration, photography, and music. The result of this design is an educational media in the form of motion graphic anti-negative stigma against PLWHA. The content of this motion graphic comes from interviews with the Head of the Youth Working Group, the Bandung City AIDS Commission, plus several journals. Thus, this design was carried out to present a motion graphic with an anti-stigma theme that is illustrated and in color according to adolescents aged 15-19 years.
