Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effects of number of customers and gold price toward profitability of PT Pegadaian Period 2015-2022. The data collection method is to collect secondary data from annual report of PT Pegadaian period 2015-2022 in the company’s website (www.pegadaian.co.id). The multiple regression analysis was used to examine the proposed hypothesis. Moreover, prior multiple regression, classical tests were deployed to test fairness of the collected data namely normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedasticity test, and autocorrelation. The results of the finding suggest that number of customers is insignificant influence of profitability of PT Pegadaian, gold price significantly influences the profitability of PT Pegadaian Period 2015-2022, and surprisingly number of customers and gold price simultaneously is significant toward profitability of PT Pegadaian Period 2015-2022.
