Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Soka Cipta Niaga which operates in the manufacturing sector of sock production and convection. The system for purchasing raw materials, payroll and income is a focus in this research because the results of observations show that this system is less effective and efficient. Many activities still contain discrepancies between recording and physical evidence in calculating the value of raw material purchases, payroll and income. The aim of this research is to design a computerized system for purchasing raw materials, payroll and income and design the flow of procedures to suit each task and function. This observation is divided into several recordings, during purchase orders, supplier selection, purchasing raw materials, receipt and expenditure of money. The Payroll System is divided into employee recording, time recording input, and payroll. Meanwhile, the revenue system is divided into several activities from cash sales and credit. By designing a computer-based information system for purchasing raw materials, payroll and income, errors in calculating purchases, employee salaries and income that often occur in manual systems can be reduced or even non-existent and can produce the required information quickly and accurately, and can produce reports that can be useful for decision making for company management.
