Hubungan Kecenderungan Narsistik dengan Gaya Hidup Hedonisme pada Pria Anggota The Crow di Kota Bandung
Abstract
The condition of emerging adulthood has crisis vulnerability, especially when individuals are poorly prepared for the social world. In the transition from adolescence to adulthood where individuals are required to correct behaviors during adolescence. Narcissistic tendencies arise from a failure to imitate empathy from parents during a child's early development. Individuals with narcissistic tendencies need admiration and self-focused and personal pleasure which can lead to a hedonistic lifestyle, where the individual will do various ways to achieve his or her pleasure. This study aims to determine the relationship between narcissistic tendencies and hedonistic lifestyles in men who are members of The Crow. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a significant relationship between narcissistic tendencies and a hedonistic lifestyle. The subjects in this study numbered 100 people who had male characteristics, aged 18-29 years and active members of The Crow. Subject capture taken using purposive sampling method. The data collection of this study used two scales, namely the Hedonism Lifestyle Scale and Narcissistic Tendencies. The data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation from Karl Pearson. A correlation coefficient was obtained between narcissistic tendencies and hedonistic lifestyles in men members of The Crow with significance values = 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship between narcissistic tendencies and hedonistic lifestyles.
