Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan teknologi berkembang pesat terutama dibidang sistem informasi,
informasi merupakan hal yang efektif di seluruh dunia dan dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi
penggunanya untuk mendapatkan berbagai macam informasi yang dibutuhkannya. Salah satu sistem
informasi yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa ialah mencari tempat kosan bagi mahasiswa yang sedang
menjalankan perkuliahannya diluar kota atau luar daerah, selain itu sistem informasi juga membantu
pemilik kosan untuk mempublikasikan tempat kosannya. Untuk mendapatkan informasi tempat kosan lebih
rinci, khususnya dengan menggunakan layanan webservice masih sangat sulit diperoleh. Oleh karena itu,
penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membangun aplikasi berbasis webservice yang dapat memudahkan pencarian
informasi tempat kosan dan mempublikasi tempat kosan.
